Clinical posters will be displayed electronically (e-posters) on large LCD screens and do not need to be printed. To optimize viewing, e-posters must be prepared according to the instructions provided above.
The template background, text colors and font size may be customized but the document size etc. MUST NOT be altered.
The following sections must be included in the PDF poster:
Authors will be given the option during submission to present their poster in the General Endodontic Poster section if their submission is not accepted for the Clinical Poster section. Posters in the General Endodontic section must be printed for display on traditional poster boards.
This section is for case reports or clinical techniques – and not clinical research.
Research projects including clinical trials should NOT be submitted in this category but should be submitted to the Research Poster category. If your submission does not follow the correct format it will be allocated to the General Endodontic section.
Evaluation:
Please note, a blind review process is NOT used for Clinical Poster submissions. Clinical poster submissions will be critically appraised by the ESE Clinical Practice Committee.
Clinical posters submission may be accepted with changes. In this case you will be asked to resubmit your poster for a final review. Authors will be informed by 1st April and will be allowed to resubmit their E-Poster with changes between 1-15 April for final review.
Final acceptance letters will be sent after 1st May.
Presentation:
All accepted original clinical posters will be presented as E-Poster and will be moderated with 5 minutes allocated for presentation followed by 3 minutes for questions and answers. The nominated author must be in attendance for the entire session they are allocated to.
Again, posters accepted for the Clinical Poster section are presented in e-format and do not need to be printed.
