Professor Giampiero Rossi-Fedele is the Discipline Lead in Endodontics at The University of Adelaide.
He obtained his MClinDent in Endodontology from UCL/Eastman Dental Institute, his PhD from PUCRs in Porto Alegre, Brazil, and a PG Cert LTHE from The University of London.
He has more than 120 peer-reviewed publications including systematic reviews with immediate clinical translation and laboratory studies assessing biocidal agents in endodontics.
He is the lead author of the "Revised guidelines for educational requirements for specialisation in endodontics in Australia and New Zealand” (2020).
As a member of the Australian Society of Endodontics Inc. Education Subcommittee, he also co-authored the "Revised guidelines for the endodontic education of dentistry students in Australia and New Zealand” (2021). Aside from his academic role, he also works clinically as a Senior Dental Specialist in Endodontics at the Adelaide Dental Hospital, SA Dental.
