Fadi Jarad

Fadi is a Professor and clinical Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at the University of Liverpool, UK.

He completed his undergraduate training in Irbid, Jordan, his PhD in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and his postgraduate clinical training in Liverpool.

Fadi is the Director of the Postgraduate Programmes at the University of Liverpool. He developed the three-year Professional Doctorate programme in Endodontology, which received ESE Accreditation in 2020. He is a member of the Specialty Advisory Board of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and MEndo examiner and bank manager.

He took a leading role in updating the UK Endodontic Postgraduate 2023 curriculum. He chairs the Education and Scholarship Committee of the European Society of Endodontics.

Fadi's research emphasises improving patients' endodontics and dental trauma outcomes. Fadi is a co-investigator on NIHR-funded trials focused on Endodontic management in primary secondary care settings and delivering prevention intervention in general dental practice.

These grants result from national collaboration between Liverpool, Manchester, King College London, Queen Merry,  Belfast, Dundee, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Leeds, and Sheffield. 

He maintains a specialist private practice focusing on Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry in the Wirral peninsula alongside his academic and consultant work. He is a co-director of Sandstone & Sunlight dental practice. Fadi Enjoy baking and supporting Liverpool FC.
