Submissions in this category will be critically appraised by the ESE Clinical Practice Committee and only those accepted will be invited to present.
Video format:
The video should be a maximum of 5 minutes long and submitted in MP4 format (maximum file size 100MB). Videos should describe a clinical case, technique or procedure, having a clinical relevance but NOT clinical trials or research studies. Videos can contain text and images (still and moving). A picture of the presenter must be included at the beginning and end of the video so the audience can visualize who they are. Audio in English MUST be included to explain the clinical case, technique or procedure.
PLEASE NOTE: THE CLINICAL VIDEOS WILL BE EVALUATED ONLY ONCE.
Clinical Video Presentation:
All accepted videos will be shown in a lecture hall. The presenter will be informed when the showing will take place and it is recommended that the presenter attends the session in case there are questions from attendees, however, attendance is not essential.
Video Prize Presentation: All accepted videos will be shown in a lecture hall. The presenter will be informed when the showing will take place and it is essential that the presenter attends the session. Following the showing of each video questions from the audience to the presenter will be allowed. This session will take place on Thursday 8th September from 16:30 to 18:00. Attendees will be asked to vote on the best presentation and a prize of €250 awarded to the winner at the end of the session.

Question:
May I submit more than one video to present?
Answer:
Applicants may submit one video for presentation in this category. However, you may be a co-author on Abstracts in other sections.

Can I submit a video on behalf of the presenter?
Answer:
It is preferable that the presenting author is the submitting author as all information regarding the abstract will be sent to the submitting author. If you submit on behalf of someone else you must identify the presenting author when submitting and must forward all the information onto the presenting author.

When will I know if my submission has been accepted?

After the 16th June.

If my submission is not accepted can I present in another section?
Answer:
Yes but the submission will need to be changed to a poster.

Shortly after 1st May you will be notified of the time of your presentation.
